IN THE MINES
Work on MAZES continues. Chris continues to write and edit, as the rules are all locked down at this point. As is quite normal for projects like this - the books keep growing in size as we find more cool things to include. We are working hard towards that original SEPTEMBER goal, but we may slip (if we do it will because the books are all bigger than we expected).

Lost in Many Mazes for the Summer

My Stalwart Companions,
As the hot days of summer approach, the 9th Level Team will be traveling and adventuring across the lands of America. We'll be sure to check in with some pictures and details from our games.
We are continuing to work on MAZES and the other RPGS in the Polymorph line (expect an announcement about this early this fall). Development on the MAZES system is complete, and all of the work now is writing and exposition.

9TH LEVEL DOES REAL LIFE HEXCRAWL

My stalwart companions,
9th Level has traveled far and wide since we started the MAZES Kickstarter back in February. While it has only been 9 weeks since WE STARTED talking about MAZES and POLYMORPH. In those weeks, we have visited - Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, Massachusetts, New York, Connecticut, Nevada, California, and Washington State. We are continuing to write and experiment with some of the rad concepts in MAZES, and we are on track for delivering the game by the end of the summer.
Everywhere we have gone, we have taken MAZES with us (and a box of POP FIGURES to use as "miniatures") and the response to MAZES has been nothing short of exceptional. The team and I are so excited to get this product into your hands, and to start talking about the real future of POLYMORPH RPGs.

While in RENO, Chris spent some time with one of the greatest influences on MAZES

I don't know about you, but when I go to Seattle to be a nerd - DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS pinball is part of that
Like all good wizards, Chris found a magic cat at a bookstore
9th Level brought MAZES to the Kickstarter Forest at PAX EAST - it was well recieved
The Kickstarter Forest was super cool - with calming forest sounds, low light, and plenty of table space
In the FOREST, the lighting was really dramatic for setting up a fight between a Noble Scion (d8) and Red WIzard (d4) against a Murder Cultist!
Where's 9th Level...oh, right there
Back at home, the fight continues - as we work toward a final manuscript

Lost in the Maze - March Update

My Stalwart Companions,
So much is going on back at 9th Level HQ (mainly that we are not there and we are adventuring all over the country). But, what is important is that MAZES is coming together nicely, and we that we just did our BackerKit smoke test - so expect to see the BackerKit survey very soon.
THE PHARAOH'S CHALLENGE
This weekend The Kobold Dude is once again hosting the "The Pharaoh's Challenge" at SHUSHCON. Where hardcore DMs get a pile of weird things and have to learn a game and then run a game in only a few hours. This year, they are getting an early MAZES (totally unfinished) manuscript - and have to figure how to run it. MUCH EXCITE!

The Last Room - Mazes RPG Ends Today

My Brave Companions,
We enter the final room to fight the boss at the end of the dungeon. In 6 hours, the Mazes Zine Edition Kickstarter ends. It has already exceeded our expectations, and we are super excited to get this treasure into your hands.
All this month, we have been playing MAZES at Cons, Stores, and online - and we will continue to do so throughout the year. After the KS ends we will be working to get the DISCORD channel up to snuff so that it is ready when we deliver the game to you all.
If you are going to be at PAX EAST - Chris will be running MAZES games every day at 12noon from the Kickstarter Lounge. Drop us a note if you want to reserve a spot.
